Dr. D.Y Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development has organised a seminar on Careers in the Securities Markets. It was a pleasure to have Mr. Sanjeev Bajaj, General Manager of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) on 5th November 2025 at 11am in Seminar Hall. The seminar was conducted for MBA First- and Second-Year students. It aimed to enhance students’ understanding of the importance of financial literacy, investment planning, and the various professional avenues available in the securities market.
Objective of the Session:
The primary objective of the seminar was to provide valuable insights into career opportunities in stock markets, investment advisory, financial research, companies role, mutual fund industry, and other emerging domains in the securities market. To create awareness among students about the significance of early investment and financial planning. Mr. Bajaj also focused on introducing students to the key roles of NISM and SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India) in maintaining transparency, investor protection, and promoting professionalism in the financial market.
