IIC Introduction
MoE – Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India, has established the MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) with the objective of cultivating a vibrant culture of innovation within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This national initiative is dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship and nurturing innovative thinking among students by supporting them in transforming ideas into workable prototypes.
As a part of this vision, Institution’s Innovation Councils (IICs) have been formed in educational institutions across the country. These councils aim to establish a structured innovation ecosystem that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial activities.
At Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Research (DYPIMED), the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) was founded in the year 2024, in alignment with this initiative.
