Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti is an important occasion for the people of Maharashtra and others who admire him as a warrior, king, great administrator, revolutionary visionaire and a legendary figure in Indian history. It is celebrated on 19th February every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj, who was born in 1630 in Maharashtra.
On 19th February 2023, the auspicious occasion of Shiv Jayanti was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by Dr. D. Y. Patil Educational Federation, at Varale Campus, Pune.

About the Activity
120 students have enthusiastically participated in the Activity. Students created a Prototype of Fort using their skills and imagination. Students with help of faculty set a small drama activity on event Shivaji Maharaj Afzal Khan Meeting near Pratapgad. Which was presented during the event. All Faculties and supporting staff as well as students were present in traditional Indian Attire.

Overall, the Shiv Jayanti celebrations were a grand success, and it was a fitting tribute to the legacy of Shivaji Maharaj. The event helped to reinforce the cultural and spiritual values and fostered a sense of unity and brotherhood among the attendees.
