FDP on “Empowering Educators with AI Tools”

The Faculty Development Programme on “Empowering Educators with AI Tools” was organized to equip faculty members and students with practical knowledge of integrating AI in the teaching-learning process. The sessions focused on hands-on tools, real-time applications, and ethical considerations of AI in education. Led by distinguished speakers Dr. John Blesswin and Dr. Selva Mary, the session explored practical applications of AI in curriculum design, assessment, and learner engagement. Participants gained hands-on exposure to tools that simplify instructional tasks and foster dynamic, personalized learning environments. This FDP aimed to enhance digital competence among educators. It also encouraged collaborative and innovative teaching approaches powered by artificial intelligence.

Objectives:

Conclusion:
The FDP successfully empowered educators and students to embrace AI as a transformative force in modern education. It provided meaningful insights into responsible, ethical, and efficient use of AI tools. The sessions promoted a learner-centric and innovative approach to pedagogy. The participants left with renewed confidence to integrate technology meaningfully into their academic practices.
