Introduction:
Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development (DYPIMED) organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Understanding the State of Mind” on 4th July 2025. The FDP was designed to enhance the emotional and psychological well-being of faculty members and to foster a positive, mindful, and productive academic environment. In the fast-paced world of education, understanding mental health and emotional intelligence is essential not only for personal well-being but also for maintaining a healthy work-life balance and effectively mentoring students.
Resource Person:
The session was conducted by Mr. Nitten Mahadik, a highly experienced facilitator with over two decades of experience in the industry, including 14 years of rich experience in facilitation. He has an impressive background in corporate training, mindfulness practices, and people development. His ability to connect with the audience through real-life anecdotes and psychological insights made the session both engaging and impactful.
Objectives:
• To help faculty members develop self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
• To promote mental well-being and stress management techniques.
• To explore the role of mindfulness in professional and personal growth.
• To create a positive and emotionally supportive academic environment.
• To encourage reflection and conscious communication among educators.
