Induction Program 2025 – Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management & Entrepreneur Development (DYPIMED), Varale, Pune
The 6-day Induction Program 2025 at DYPIMED was designed to welcome newly admitted MBA and MCA students and provide them with exposure to the institute’s academic environment, industry insights, life skills, and holistic development activities. The program successfully blended expert talks, interactive workshops, cultural events, and team-building exercises, ensuring a balanced start to the students’ professional journey.
Day 1: Academic Introduction & Institutional Orientation
Morning Sessions:
The day began at 9.00 am with Welcome and Registration, followed by a formal Opening Ceremony at 9.30 am.Welcome Address by Dr. Ashwini Chavan set the tone for motivation and engagement.
Address by Director Madam, Dr. Meghana Bhilare highlighted the institute’s vision, values, and expectations.
Students were introduced to faculty through MBA and MCA Department introductions, allowing them to understand program structure and specialization areas.
Afternoon Sessions:
Training & Placement Orientation by TPO Team provided insights on internships, career planning, and corporate readiness.
Library Orientation familiarized students with digital resources, research databases, and study facilities.
ERP Orientation demonstrated academic and administrative tools for effective learning management.
The day concluded with MBA and MCA HOD Syllabus Orientation, giving students clarity on program objectives and course structure.
Day 2: Life Skills, Wellness & Team Bonding
Morning Sessions:
Session I: Ms. Bhargavi Kulkarni, Life Skill Trainer, spoke on “Mental Discipline – Tapping the Wisdom”, emphasizing focus, resilience, and emotional intelligence.
Session II: Ms. Priya Satkar, Certified Yoga Trainer, conducted a Wellness, Mindfulness, and Yoga Workshop, guiding students through meditation, breathing exercises, and stress management techniques.
Afternoon Sessions:
Engaging Ice-Breaking Activities: The “Paper Game” conducted by Dr. Amruta Shyamkumar and Mrs. Nuzat Sheikh encouraged teamwork, creativity, and peer interaction, fostering early bonding among students.
Day 3: Self-Belief & Creative Expression
Morning Session:
Strength in Self-Belief session by Mrs. Vidyulata Gawade focused on personal growth, confidence building, and goal setting for students.
Afternoon Session:
Special Interaction: The presence of AarPar movie stars Hruta Durgule & Lalit Prabhakar inspired students through success stories and personal journeys.
Talent Hunt: Students showcased creativity in storytelling, dance, and drama, highlighting their passion, teamwork, and expressive skills.
Day 4: Industry Insights & Personal Branding
Morning Sessions:
Session I: Management Lessons from Bhagwat Geeta by Ms. Roma Abhyankar provided spiritual and ethical perspectives for leadership and decision-making.
Session II: Exploring Career Paths in Next-Gen Digital Era by Tushar Pagare gave students insight into future-ready careers.
Afternoon Sessions:
Session III: 4 C’s of Personal Branding by Ms. Riya Gote focused on communication, credibility, confidence, and creativity.
Session IV: Angrezi Club Session with Mr. Pankaj Mittal engaged students in language enhancement and practical exercises, followed by interactive activities.
Day 5: Career Vision & Experiential Learning
Morning Sessions:
Session I: “Future-Proof Your Career” by Mr. Rajeev Jain, Sr. Director, FISERV, highlighted emerging career trends, skill requirements, and industry readiness.
Session II: “Inner Journey” by Dr. Jayashri Fadnavis, Psychologist & Educator, guided students through self-awareness, emotional well-being, and personal growth strategies.
Afternoon Sessions:
Treasure Hunt Activity: Conducted by Mr. Abhijeet Patil and Ms. Sai Bhagwat, this interactive session promoted collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking among students.
Day 6: Leadership, Teamwork & Management Games
Morning Session:
Session I: “Bond Beyond Walls” with Mr. Venkat Ramnik emphasized leadership, teamwork, and breaking barriers in professional and social settings.
Afternoon Session:
Management Games & Team Activities: Students participated in experiential exercises conducted by Mr. Venkat Ramnik, reinforcing practical learning, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
Conclusion
Students gained academic clarity, understood institutional processes, and interacted with faculty and peers.
Exposure to industry experts, life skills, wellness practices, and career guidance aligned learning with Programme Outcomes (POs).
Interactive activities, talent hunts, and team games fostered confidence, creativity, communication, and leadership qualities.
