Tree Plantation Activity under “Harit Maharashtra, Samrudh Maharashtra” Campaign

Objective
The objective of this activity was to support the “Harit Maharashtra, Samrudh Maharashtra” campaign by increasing greenery in and around the institute and to create awareness among students about the importance of trees for a sustainable environment.

Activity Details
• The NSS Unit of our institute conducted a Tree Plantation Drive on 27th September 2025.
• A total of 45 trees were planted inside and in the surrounding areas of the institute.
• NSS volunteers, along with faculty members, actively participated in the plantation drive.
• Awareness regarding environmental protection and conservation was also promoted during the activity.

Outcome
• A total of 45 saplings were successfully planted, contributing towards a greener and healthier environment.
• Students developed a sense of environmental responsibility and teamwork.
• The activity spread awareness of the long-term benefits of tree plantation and environmental sustainability.

Conclusion
The Tree Plantation Drive under the “Harit Maharashtra, Samrudh Maharashtra” campaign was successfully organized with active participation from NSS volunteers. The event added greenery to the institute surroundings and inspired students to contribute towards protecting nature and building a sustainable future.
