A webinar on Cyber Security & Safety was organized by Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development (DYPIMED) on 14th October 2025 at 11:00 AM in association with Maharashtra Police, Station–Ambi. The online interaction was conducted through Twitter, and students of MBA and MCA programmes attended the session.
The session featured an interaction with Shri Vinoy K. Choubey, Commissioner of Police, PCMC, who addressed the students on various aspects of cyber safety, cybercrime prevention, responsible social media usage, and the importance of digital awareness in today’s environment. The official session was hosted using the Twitter handle @PCcityPolice.
Students gained valuable insights into current cyber threats, safe online practices, password management, and the legal consequences of cybercrimes. The speaker also emphasized the role of youth in promoting cyber hygiene within society.
Overall, the webinar proved highly informative and beneficial, enhancing students’ understanding of digital safety and responsible online behaviour.
