Introduction

The second day of the National Conference on “Empowering Students for a Self-Reliant India: From Classroom to Nation-Building @2047” was successfully conducted on 14th March 2026 at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Management and Entrepreneur Development (DYPIMED), Varale, Pune.

The conference continued with an engaging schedule of technical paper presentations, keynote sessions, academic discussions, and the valedictory ceremony. Sponsored by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) under the Quality Improvement Program (QIP) Scheme, the event brought together academicians, researchers, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and students to explore the role of education, leadership, innovation, and technology in shaping a self-reliant and progressive India.

Objectives

The second day focused on achieving the following objectives:

The day commenced with Technical Track-3 and Management Track-4 paper presentation sessions chaired by Dr. Sagar Shinde, Professor, Nutan Maharashtra Institute of Engineering & Technology. Researchers and scholars presented their innovative research papers, followed by engaging discussions and valuable feedback that enriched the academic experience.

The conference featured inspiring keynote sessions delivered by distinguished speakers:

  • Prof. Dr. Krutii Vajir, MD & Founder, DV Group, shared valuable insights on innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and building sustainable organizations through visionary thinking.
  • Ms. Amita Menon, Head, Cheeranjiv Gurukul, highlighted the transformative role of education in developing responsible leaders and empowering future generations.
